Sarah Lee

Registered Social Worker

Sarah is a person-centered counsellor whose passion for life and commitment to well-being is at the core of her approach. Sarah is led by empathy and respect, honouring the diverse identities, stories, and struggles that each woman brings. She supports women who are experiencing challenges involving life transitions, stress and burnout, relationships, anxiety, and trauma, including religious trauma. Sarah believes that counselling is a relational process that is built on collaboration, trust and transparency. She is committed to walking alongside her clients, discovering strengths, healing from past traumas, and cultivating resilience.

Sarah is passionate about addressing the impact of systemic oppression, cultural identities, and intergenerational trauma faced by BIPOC women. She is a child of immigrants from South Korea, born in Calgary and raised in Vancouver. These identities and experiences have had a profound impact on her work as a counsellor. With an understanding of the intersectionality of race, culture, and gender, Sarah offers a space for women to navigate their lives.
