Julie Edmundson
Practicum Counsellor
Julie Edmundson (she/her) is a graduate student completing her Masters in Counselling Psychology at City University. With care, authenticity and encouragement, Julie hopes to provide a space for you to explore unwanted patterns in your life that may not be serving you. In your work with Julie, you can begin to understand your values and lighten the weight of external pressures and judgements to find an authentic place to land.
Julie works from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive lens. Whether it be anxiety, depression or challenges in relationships, she believes that the systems and contexts around us have contributed greatly to who we are today. Julie has a recreation therapy background with experience working in mental health and addictions in Vancouver for the past 5 years. She understands that coming to therapy involves hard work and emotional effort, and she will be there with you to work through the hardest parts.
