Rebecca Fisher

Practicum Counsellor

Rebecca (she/her) is a graduate student completing her Master of Counselling degree at City University. She is warm, calm, and empathetic in her approach to creating safe, accepting, and non-judgmental spaces of discovery and healing. She recognizes that all people exist within various systems that contribute to our experiences in the world. Rebecca works from a person-centred, trauma-informed, systemic approach to help clients identify and work through unwanted patterns.

Rebecca has experience working with children, youth, and families, specifically with those that have family members with developmental or intellectual disabilities. Through this work, Rebecca has learned the importance of person-centred practice and meeting clients where they are in their healing journey. Rebecca understands that clients may be starting in different places in their healing and will meet you with acceptance and compassion.

Cancellation Policy

Group programs depend on a minimum number of participants to run effectively and are designed for the purpose of completing the program in its entirety. If group members drop out before the end of the program, it may have an impact on other group members. For this reason, fees for the entire 4-week group are due in full at the time of registration.

We understand that unforeseen events occur at times. Cancellations can be made one month prior to the first group session date and a full refund will be provided. Cancellations made between the period of one month to two weeks prior to the first group session date will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds will be given for cancellation requests within two weeks of the first group session date. Registration is non-transferable and not available for resale. Receipts will be provided for insurance and/or income tax purposes if applicable.
