Marlo McMurchy
Registered Social Worker (RSW)
Marlo (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health. Offering counselling support for individuals, parents, couples, and families, she strives to provide a safe space for healing, cultivating growth and feeling authentically seen. Her style is best described as gentle, understanding and direct.
Marlo provides support for women who are having a hard time moving forward or to those who feel trapped in patterns they want to change. She is passionate about working with women who struggle to find balance, make and keep boundaries, and say what they really want to say or be who they want to be. Many of her clients avoid situations out of fear of feeling judged or unliked, and often compare themselves to others. Marlo helps her clients find balance in all the stressors that life brings, including challenges with parenting, relationships, and work. She is also deeply passionate about helping women who have been impacted by trauma and will provide support to help unpack any pain from past experiences. Marlo works towards helping her clients change unhelpful coping strategies and take a deeper look at who they are and who they want to be. She is also trained in working with couples and family members who are looking for the skills and communication techniques needed to function as an effective, thriving team.
